About Me

Hello! I'm currently a Master's student at Stanford, studying Management Science & Engineering. Previously, I worked in the aerospace industry for three years on a wide variety of projects, from commercial to defense, and manned to unmanned. For a complete resume, please check my LinkedIn.

I have a broad interest in technology, particularly problems that lie at the intersection of hardware and software. I'm also particularly interested in customer discovery and technology strategy, and I'm always looking for opportunities where new technologies can solve a customer need and change the world.

Projects

Here's a collection of some of my past (non-commercial) personal projects. For additional software projects, you can check out my github, but it's very sparse, as for a long time I avoided putting anything online and have lost a bunch of projects when moving laptops. Those that don't have write-ups will be added over time.

  1. Breadboard Quadcopter
  2. A "rapidly-built" quadcopter.
  3. Context-Laden Airfoil Optimization
  4. An optimization approach using automatic differentiation and the jacobian to optimize natural parameters. Writeup coming soon.
  5. Sub-scale Wind Turbine Design
  6. The report submitted to the DoE as part of the 2017 Collegiate Wind Competition. Won first place for technical design.
  7. 24-hr Hovering Helicopter Design
  8. Proposal as part of the VFS (formerly AHS) undergraduate design challenge, in which we won first place. I served as chief configurator and aerodynamicist.

Contact

LinkedIn is the best place to get in contact with me. However, if that doesn't work for you, you can email my first inital appended to "s" followed by my last name at stanford edu (trying to avoid email scraping a bit with the crypticism). I'm happy to talk about anything, whether it's technology, opportunities, art, or philosophy.

Other Fun Stuff

I have a broad interest in the arts, particularly old music and new visual arts. I play in a jazz band called the Jazz Underground, and you can check us out on Spotify. I also take some photos, a couple of which can be seen here.

I'm also particularly intested in non-fiction and science fiction literature. Writing a book is on my long term to-do list.
